Additional features include: 3 Low Dispersion (LD) lenses, 2 Extra Refractive Index (XR) lenses, f/2.8 high speed aperture, circular diaphragm, and moisture-resistant design. This lens incorporates a built-in motor (BIM), which gives it the capability to autofocus with all Nikon DSLR cameras (including cameras without an AF Motor).
